Job Description
Who can handle the profitability, sales and Purchase modifying existing products and processes and developing new ones; checking and improving safety and quality control procedures in your own and suppliers’ factories, from the raw material stage through to the finished product; researching current consumer markets and latest technologies to develop new product concepts; selecting raw materials and
other ingredients from suppliers; preparing product costings based on raw materials and manufacturing costs to ensure profitable products; auditing suppliers or managing internal audits; coordinating launches of new products or running trials alongside/together with product development; dealing with any customer complaint investigations or product issues; compiling/checking/approving product specifications and labelling; undertaking long-term projects with other departments, e.g. reducing waste by improving efficiency; working on packaging innovation and technology

Senior Unified Communications Engineer

Primary responsible for the delivery and support of Unified Communications including telephony, video conferencing and PSTN/SIP/GSM gateways. Minimum CCNP Voice and 3rd Line Support, experience of working within Oil & Gas

Senior Unified Communications Engineer to identify risks to service delivery, recommend options to address risks and execute approved options. Identify potential improvements to Unified Communications infrastructure capabilities, recommend options and execute approved options

Develop the Unified Communications strategy and capability to meet agreed service targets

Participate in Telecommunications enhancement projects. Assist with maintaining Unified Communications infrastructure related portion of the DR plans. Provide end-user support for Unified Communications infrastructure services. Define and execute Unified Communications infrastructure related `changes`. Create and update documentation. Ensure Unified Communications infrastructure standards are adhered to. Develop and monitor Cisco Prime system. Provide 2nd/3rd level support for Unified Communications infrastructure Incidents. Coach and provide daily direction to Unified Communications engineers.

Senior Unified Communications Engineer Criteria & Qualifications – Essential

University level education preferably in Engineering / IT or related discipline.
CCNP Voice
Proven track record in designing, deploying and supporting UC infrastructure solutions.
Deep understanding of Telephony, Video Conferencing and PSTN/SIP/GSM Gateways
Excellent trouble shooting skills
Ability to work within a multicultural environment

Senior Unified Communications Engineer – Desirable

Experience in a similar role in an oil/gas company
Experience in managing junior engineers
Experience with Teles GSM Gateway products
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and IT security
CCIE Voice or equivalent.
ITIL Foundation.
Experience with Cisco Prime
Experience with Cisco Jabber

All of their projects focus on meeting the needs of the most vulnerable, and respecting the environment. Among others the Cedar Foundation aims to establish a Health Centre (Nyamatongo ward) providing quality healthcare service to all.
Tasks:
  • To get to know the local staff at the Health Centre and to constructively assess their level of training and skills, identifying gaps in a sensitive and non-critical manner
  • To assist in the design of a training programme to address identified gaps in knowledge and skills
  • To train local medical staff directly in a cultural sensitive manner where possible
  • If appropriate to seek volunteers who could address other gaps in training and to assist in recruiting them
  • To liaise with other institutions and networks to develop and share areas of best practice
